About Print Bench

Local 3D printing run by Aditya in South Morang

Print Bench is a small local 3D printing service run by Aditya. I have been printing for just over 2 years, working mostly on practical parts, prototypes, desk accessories, replacement pieces and CAD-assisted print jobs for Melbourne's northern suburbs.

Experience

A hands-on workshop, not a checkout-only print farm

Most Print Bench jobs start with a file, sketch, photo or measurement, then get checked before a quote is sent. That review matters because print strength, layer direction, material choice and tolerances can decide whether a part is actually useful after it leaves the printer.

The focus is practical FDM printing: PLA and PETG parts for everyday use, ABS or tougher materials where the job justifies them, and TPU when flexibility is the point. If a supplied model has a clear risk, I will call it out before printing.

Trust details

  • Just over 2 years of hands-on FDM printing experience.
  • Local quote-based service from South Morang for Melbourne's northern suburbs.
  • Every job is reviewed for material choice, print orientation, size and practical use before production.
  • Clear advice when a part needs CAD work, a stronger material or a design change before printing.
Equipment

Printers used at Print Bench

The workshop currently runs a Bambu Lab P1S and Bambu Lab A1, giving enough flexibility to handle small prototypes, everyday replacement parts, accessories and quote-based custom print jobs.

Bambu Lab P1S

Used for enclosed, higher-speed FDM printing and jobs where consistent results, material handling and repeatability matter.

Bambu Lab A1

Used for everyday PLA, PETG and accessory prints, small batches, prototypes and practical replacement parts.

File review

STL, 3MF, OBJ and STEP files are checked for size, printability and likely problem areas before quoting.

CAD support

When a customer only has photos, measurements or a sketch, CAD design can be quoted before printing.

Local service

Pickup and local delivery are discussed by quote for South Morang, Mill Park, Epping, Bundoora, Mernda and nearby suburbs.
